Remembering William W. (Bill) Fuller Sr.

Bassist and Vocalist
Bill Fuller passed away on May 13 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Bill was 89 and an active musician. Bill is known by many for his work with the "Ink Spots" as well as bassist, friend and colleague on the local music scene. Life story in Times Union


Remembering Yvonne Rockstroh

Trumpeter and Band Leader
Yvonne, member and Secretary of Schenectady Musical Union, Local 85-133 died after a brief illness on April 14. Yvonne was director of the Capital District Marching Band and friend to many. She will be missed. Life story in Times Union.

Accordionist and Pianist
Our colleague Al Colasessano, a very special person, gifted musician, educator and friend passed away on March 22, 2008. We will miss him. Life story in Times Union

 Film Fund Has Record Year
The Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund has received a record high of more than 82 million dollars in contributions for fiscal year 2007-2008. In addition more new movies shown in theaters became attached to the Fund during the last year than in any year in the Fund's 45 year history.
