The Albany Musicians’ Association, Inc. (Local 14 of the AFM) is an organization of professional musicians formed to promote and ensure professional performance opportunities for members in the various forms. The Association establishes standards of working conditions, compensation, benefits and services for members in an environment of cooperation and fairness. Local 14 was chartered on December 14, 1896.

All of Albany and Rensselaer Counties except those portions which are in the jurisdiction of Local 85 -133, Schenectady; also Durham, Greenville, New Baltimore and Coxsackie in Green County; all of Columbia County except New Lebanon and Canaan (which are in the jurisdiction of Local 171, Springfield, MA).
